Leading a Fulfilling Life

Life is too short not to follow your passion. Many know this, but few actually act on it as Napoleon Wallace ‘10 (MBA) did. The UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School alum and former Premiere, Kenan Institute Leader, and Carolina Entrepreneurship fellow stated that he spends his free time pursuing new ventures.

As a finance graduate, he has launched several successful finance efforts across public, private, and nonprofit sectors and was featured in Triangle Business Journal’s “40 under 40.” Wallace has accomplished all of this despite the fact that he was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 38.

Even with his diagnosis, Wallace remains determined to make the best of his career.

“I may show up differently now, but it’s still my connections to people and purpose that makes life personally, professionally, and emotionally fulfilling,” Wallace said.
