Brianna Pinto

Brianna Pinto ’22 excels in both her studies at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and her performances on the soccer field.

With both of her parents being Tar Heels, Pinto always knew she wanted to wear Carolina blue. So, when it came time to choose where to go to college, the choice was easy.

“I felt I’d get the best of both worlds — athletics and academics,” said Pinto. “Right now, I’m living the dream.”

Having represented the United States on an international stage as part of North America’s joint bid to host the 2026 men’s World Cup at the young age of 18, Brianna’s leadership skills and dedication drew her to UNC Kenan-Flagler.

“Brianna is all things awesome,” says Jackie Fritsch, assistant director of admissions and scholarships for the Undergraduate Business Program. “In addition to being a world-class athlete, she is an effective advocate for women and minorities. She is a leader on and off the field, here at UNC, throughout the U.S. and across the globe.”
