When Ning Lee, an accomplished violinist and native of Singapore, was exploring college options, she always planned to go abroad. Carolina was not originally on her radar, until a dedicated professor of performance in UNC’s Department of Music reached out and encouraged her to apply for a Kenan Music Scholarship.
