William Rand Kenan Professor of Biology Albert S. Baldwin’s work has the potential to result in breakthrough therapies to treat cancer and inflammatory diseases. That potential earned him the National Cancer Institute’s Outstanding Investigator Award, which carries $5.9 million in funding over the next seven years.
